Michael Millett

University Policy and Processes

Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Michael has built a career rooted in service, expertise, and continuous learning. After graduating from Tates Creek High School, Michael enlisted in the US Army, serving six years as an IT Technician in the 101st Airborne Division and completing one deployment to Afghanistan.

Following his military service, Michael returned to Lexington and enrolled at the University of Kentucky. He earned a bachelor's degree in Management and a master's in Strategic HR Management and Analytics.

Michael has been an employee of UK since 2021 and has worked in various departments in UK Human Resources, including, Compliance, Career Employment, and Administration. He is currently an HR Specialist who supports the staffing operations for UK HealthCare's Ambulatory Division.
