Perry Gibson

Born in Floyd County in Eastern Kentucky, Perry Gibson moved to Lexington around age 15 and graduated from Henry Clay High School in 2010. After earning a full ride to the University of Kentucky, he went on to graduate with 2 separate BA's in 2015: one in German and the other in International Studies. He also became a State and Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in 2018. With his main special interest being applied personal finance and with him being a small local landlord, he spends a good amount of time monitoring the stock market and local housing market. When not doing that or working, Perry will often be practicing second language acquisition or traveling internationally. Employed by the University of Kentucky since August of 2011, he celebrated 5 years of full time work in April of 2021 and celebrated 10 years overall in August of 2021. He is currently a Senior Pharmacy Technician at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center and also serves as a Staff Senator.
