Allison graduated UK with a BA in 2004, and has been employed here full time since 2007. She has recently joined the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center as an Administrator, and also works for the Diabetes and Obesity Research Priority Area under the Office of the Vice President for Research. Allison is passionate about advocating for others, listening, making sure those around her have a voice, and encouraging changes to build a stronger, more diverse community. She is an avid sports fan, and enjoys a friendly bracket competition, as well as cheering on her favorite middle school football player and 10U hockey player. When she's not cheering on her teams, she loves to cook, read, and you can almost always find her with a knitting project nearby. Allison's 4 years on the UK Staff Senate have exceeded her expectations; she has been able to network and collaborate with those across campus, has built incredible friendships, increased her institutional knowledge, and she looks forward to the bright future ahead at UK!.
