Dave Melanson

Staff Representative to the Board of Trustees [he/him]

David Melanson serves as Assistant Director of External Affairs and Development for the UK Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER). He is the Staff Representative on the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees and is Chair of the University Athletics Committee. Melanson began his higher education career at the University of Kentucky in 2004, where he served as speechwriter for former UK President Lee T. Todd, Jr. for nearly seven years. Melanson then became Director of Alumni and External Relations at the UK College of Pharmacy, before joining UK CAER in December 2015.
