John Blaine
Professional Development/Career Progression
John grew up on the north end of Lexington, graduating from Bryan Station High School in 2001. He attended the University of Kentucky, earning a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education in 2007. He returned to the University of Kentucky in 2009 to earn a teaching certification in Elementary Education and, in 2017, a Master's degree in Gifted Education from Eastern Kentucky University. In 2015, John was hired as an Education Specialist for the University of Kentucky's Center for Inter-professional Health Education. John joined UK's College of Pharmacy in 2018 as the Pre-Pharmacy Advisor. He currently serves as the Director of the Center for Graduate and Professional Community Initiatives.
