Kayla Powell, MS

Ad-Hoc: Shared Governance Collaboration [she/her]

Kayla Powell is the Director of Student Experience & Engagement in the College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. She is a PhD candidate in UK’s Educational Policy Studies & Evaluation program, and her research focuses on student experience and sense of belonging. She is a Lexington native and has been part of the UK community for 15 years. Prior to joining CoSW, she worked as an admission officer in Enrollment Management and as an academic advisor in the Lewis Honors College. She holds an MS degree from Western Kentucky University and a BA from UK.
