The Staff Senate's Professional Development Committee November Lunch and Learn:

Topic: Sustainable Office Certification Program

Speaker: Ryan Lark, Zero-Waste Specialist

Ryan Lark will be presenting the university’s Sustainable Office Certification Program, a new opportunity for campus employees to get involved with sustainability. Then, he will discuss UK’s goal of becoming a zero-waste campus by 2030 and how you and your department can help us achieve that goal. Ryan Lark is a sustainability professional currently serving as UK’s Zero-Waste Specialist Sr. In this role, Ryan leads UK Recycling, overseeing waste diversion programs, operations, education and outreach for Campus, Dining, Athletics, and Healthcare.
