The woodshop coordinator in the School of Art and Visual Studies is honored for his craftsmanship, creativity and collaborative spirit.

One of the privileges of serving as Staff Senate chair is the opportunity to hear directly from employees across the university. Sometimes those conversations happen in committee meetings. And sometimes they happen during our monthly Staff Senate meetings, where your senators and university leaders come together to discuss issues affecting our workplace. It is the story of you, our colleagues, who serve students, support research, care for patients, maintain our facilities, solve problems, and help make the University of Kentucky a great place to work and learn. Staff Senate's role is to listen, share information, elevate staff perspectives, and help strengthen communication across the University.
